What’s the shortcode to display the wheel inside a page?

[wof_wheel id="your wheel id"]. You can find the ID of your wheel on the ‘wheels’ tab.

When I play the wheel, it is stuck on ‘loading’, what can  I do?

Make sure you entered a value for each winning slice. Contact us if that doesn’t fix it.

How can I connect the wheel to other software via Zapier?

Have a look at our tutorial here.

Setting “send email to the user when they won” doesn’t work.
When your emails aren’t being sent, make sure the ‘from’ address is an address you control and is valid. If this is the case, read on.

The first thing you can do is run a test on your WordPress site with the free Check Email plugin. This is a very basic plugin designed to simply test if your WordPress installation and or server can send emails.

If the test succeeded, you may want to contact our support to dig a little deeper. If the test failed, there are a few things you can do. Refer to this article from our friends at Kinsta to find out more.

I’m getting an error “Your merge fields were invalid.”

You can get this error when you are sending incomplete information to your MailChimp list. Make sure the fields that are required on the MailChimp list are also set as required in the WP Optin Wheel form builder.

To check whether or not a field is required inside MailChimp, you can go to your MailChimp account > Lists > Click the list you are using > Settings > List fields & merge tags. On that screen, you’ll be able to see what fields should be required on the WP Optin form.
